​연금술사의 아들_황금사과

 

작가는 2016년 10월 1일 부산비엔날레를 방문하였고 이강소 작가의 Becoming(Apples)(1974년도 작)라는 작업을 마주하였다.

이에 2천원을 주고 사과를 구매하였고 그것을 본인의 최근 작업 방식인 ‘연금술사의 아들‘ 작업의 주요 오브제로 삼아 지속적으로 촬영을 하고 있다.

약 4달간의 사진작업을 통하여 8점의 넘버링이 된 작업이 나왔으며 최근의 경우 재료적인 이유로 사과가 경질화 되어 더 이상 변화를 하고 있지 않다.

Son of Alchemist_ Golden apple

I visited the Busan Biennale on October 1, 2016 and saw the work of Becoming (Apples) (1974) by the Lee Gang-so.
I bought an apple for 2,000 won, and taked it as the main object of my recent work "Son of Alchemist" work.
(As of December 2016)

In about 4 months of photography, 10 numbered works have been produced. In recently, a apple are hardened due to the material and are no longer changing.
